There has been much focus on dangerous dogs and dog control legislation in recent days after news of another shocking and devastating, fatal dog attack over the weekend.
The Scottish Community Safety Network regards dog control as a serious community safety issue and remains committed to our work with partners to do all we can to ensure dog control is given the importance it requires to keep our communities safe.
We are pleased to be a member of the two Scottish Government working groups on Dog Control and to review the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 and will continue to advocate for communities on this issue.
