The Scottish Government is seeking views on whether any changes should be made to the draft Code of Practice for Stop and Search before it comes into force.

The Code of Practice on Stop and Search will set out rules and guidance on when and how Stop and Search is used, how the search would be carried out and the type of information that should be recorded.

This consultation will run until 15 July 2016 and can be accessed by visiting the Scottish Government Consultation Hub (bit.ly/stop-and-search-consultation).

Respondents are asked to consider the current draft Code of Practice on Stop and Search contained within the consultation paper (bit.ly/Code-of-Practice).
