The Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT) is the UK’s leading charity working to reduce the number of children and young people killed, disabled or seriously injured in accidents.

Electrical Safety First

Electrical Safety First is a campaigning charity that aims to reduce deaths and injuries caused by electricity in UK homes. They do this by working closely with Government, the electrical industry, manufacturers, retailers and consumer safety organisations to improve safety regulation and standards. They run media and digital campaigns to share advice and guidance with consumers that will help them to stay safe in their homes.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has a dedicated home safety section on their website where you can find useful information, advice, resources and campaign information. You can also book a home fire safety visit.

SGN

SGN look after the gas pipes underground and up to your gas meter. Their website provides useful gas safety information, including about being winter ready, bogus callers and CO2 in the home.
