Training covering what Stalking and Harassment is, and information about the FollowIt App recording tool.

Free spaces are available for; students, service users, volunteers and members of the Rape Crisis Network.

Stalking and Harassment is a form of Gender-Based Violence and can cause fear, distress and alarm when experienced. Feedback from women survivors is that gathering evidence can be challenging and overwhelming. The Scottish Women’s Right Centre developed FollowIt App to enable women in Scotland to safely and securely record and store incidents of stalking using their mobile phones.

This training is aimed at organisations and agencies who would like to understand the signs and impacts stalking and harassment has on women survivors, become acquainted with the app, and learn how to refer the women they work with to this tool. While an understanding of Gender-Based violence is ideal, it is not necessary, and you do not need to be working directly with survivors to attend this training.

Please see the Scottish Women’s Right Centre Training Calendar for further training.
