The Scottish Gambling Education Network (SGEN) exists to bring together practitioners and organisations from a variety of education and health settings, with the aim to share best practices, provide support and help establish, sustain and improve gambling education and prevention provision across Scotland.
We welcome youth workers, teachers, policy makers, experts by experience, health care workers, researchers and anyone else with an interest in preventing gambling harm in Scotland.
Each quarterly meeting centres around a different theme related to gambling. The theme for this event will be ‘Gambling and Gender’.
Presentations will include perspectives from people with lived experience, research on connections between gambling harm and gender, and views and experiences from practitioners.
