Pint & A Plan is for anyone who would like to learn more about how they can take climate action, in a casual and friendly environment.

Hosted in pubs around Scotland, this event is brought to you by Tennent’s Lager, 2050 Climate Group and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA), and will explore how we can be empowered to take action on the climate crisis through the things we use, how we travel and how we use our money.

The event will be focused around positive discussions and is for those who want to make a difference – but aren’t quite sure where to start. What’s more? By attending, you’ll also earn yourself a free ticket to redeem on Tennent’s famous Wellpark Brewery Tour!

Pint and A Plan is free to attend for those aged 18 and over, with a particular focus on ages18-35.

Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start

About 2050 Climate Group

Our vision is that by 2050, young people will be active citizens, having led and accelerated the progress to a just and sustainable society. Since we formed in 2014, we have been working to empower, equip and enable Scotland’s young leaders, aged 18-35, to lead action on tackling the climate crisis.

About SEPA

Every day the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) works to protect and enhance Scotland’s environment, helping communities and businesses thrive within the resources of our planet. This is called One Planet Prosperity.

SEPA has been given a unique and visionary Statutory Purpose: to protect and improve the environment in ways that, as far as possible, also create health and well-being benefits and sustainable economic growth.

About Tennent’s Lager

The Scottish brewer is committed to the fight against climate change and is continuously looking at how it can innovate and adapt to minimise its environmental impact. This has led to a number of significant investments over the years to the site at Wellpark including the installation of an anaerobic digestion plant, a carbon capture facility and the addition of new equipment which allows for the removal of all single-use plastic packaging from Tennent’s canned products.

Other changes have also included the introduction of solar assisted trucks to its delivery fleets, commitment to only sourcing barley from Scottish farms and ensuring all by-products are recycled.

As one of Scotland’s oldest businesses, Tennent’s recognises the need to continuously evolve, and continues to seek new ways to work towards more sustainable practices, engaging with its customers, suppliers and consumers, to work together on the fight against climate change.
