A community discussion event on substance use health inequalities affecting LGBTQI+ people in Glasgow and beyond.

Join the Glasgow LGBTQI+ Substance Use Partnership and their newly trained LGBTQI+ substance use ‘Community Champions’ for a discussion on one of the biggest health inequalities affecting our community.

The event will feature a panel discussion with our ‘Community Champions’ and other guests, including special guest speaker Matthew Todd, author of ‘Straight Jacket’, as well as an opportunity for you to have your say on the topics discussed via facilitated group discussions.

We’ll produce a report following this event which will be shared with our Partnership members, including local and national substance use and LGBTQI+ organisations.

We’ll also be conducting some live polls on the night to test and hopefully boost your knowledge of alcohol & drug harms affecting our community, and where you can access support.

All of those who both sign up for and attend this event will be entered into a draw to win one of four copies of ‘Straight Jacket’!

This project is funded by the Ripple Community Activity Fund.
