A partnership review of Public Space CCTV.

The Scottish Community Safety Network is taking forward work to review Public Space CCTV in Scotland. The research project (launched on 9 January) will review the current landscape for Public Space CCTV across Scotland and will identify future opportunities in terms of Community Safety Outcomes. COSLA, the Scottish Government, Police Scotland, Neighbourhood Watch Scotland, and NHS Scotland are all parties of interest in this work and are members of the project steering group.

The research is currently out to tender and is expected to commence 1 February 2019 with an expected publication date in early summer 2019.  It is expected that a wide range of organisations, communities and individuals will be asked to participate in the consultation as it progresses.
